ONA RN Bargaining UnitKaiser permanent RNs under a dual membership agreement with the Oregon Nurses Association Kaiser Permanente and coalition negotiators reached an interim agreement on September 25 after nearly five months of active negotiations that began in April 2019. The agreement was ratified in October by union members at Kaiser Permanente. “This agreement will enable the Permanent Emperor to secure an excellent job for all and is consistent with our commitment to a higher affordable price for our members and customers,” said Arlene Peasnall, Senior Vice President and Acting Human Resources Officer, Kaiser Permanente. “We are grateful for our knowledgeable and compassionate collaborators who are dedicated to our members, our patients, our communities and each other.” The agreement provides for annual wage increases and maintains excellent health and retirement benefits for workers, while creating a program to reduce the national shortage of health workers.
